COVID-19 UPDATE

UPDATE: JULY 2020

Following the recent developments in South Brisbane related to COVID-19, we ask that anyone who may have been in the above locations at the identified times to not attend our clinic until they have completed the necessary period of self-isolation, and have returned a negative COVID-19 test.

This is to ensure the ongoing health and safety of our staff, clients and the broader community, which remains our top priority.

If you are a close contact of a confirmed or possible COVID-19 case, please follow all Queensland Health directives, and stay home (unless being tested).

Your health and safety remain top of our priorities in our response to COVID-19.

As allied health practitioners, our clinic remains open for your health needs, as recommended by the Australian Government Department of Health.

Our practitioners have completed the Australian Government’s Infection Control Training – COVID-19

We’d like to assure you that our usual high standards of hygiene now include strict measures to limit the transmission of Coronavirus to our practice members, staff and the wider community.

These measures include social distancing and continual sanitising of high-contact surfaces, particularly when it involves the personal care of each practice member.

Key Steps

  • Please continue to make your appointments as usual.
  • Upon arrival/leaving the clinic, please wash your hands thoroughly in our bathroom with the soap provided. Antibacterial gel is also provided.
  • You are welcome to wait outside in the fresh air. Please let us know that you have arrived for your appointment.
  • Cashless payment is preferred during this time. Remember, you can save on the standard fee by claiming your own private health rebate (in person with your health fund or online). That way you don’t need to swipe your health card with us.
  • You may request that your practitioner wears a protective mask during your appointment (call ahead of your appointment on 3357 3366 to request). Please note that masks are in limited supply and are reserved for specific circumstances.

Please Remember

  • Stay at home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing, please call your GP for advice.
  • Stay at home if you have had contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
  • Stay at home if you have returned home from overseas or interstate in the past 14 days.

If any of the above circumstances apply to you, we are able to schedule your appointment for a date that falls after a 14-day period of self-isolation, provided that you are feeling well.

TeleHealth Chiropractic Consultations

At this stage, we are not providing online Chiropractic consultations for Initial Consultations. Please call us on 3357 3366 if you are interested in this service.

Online Naturopathic Consultations

We now offer online Naturopathic consultations if you are unable to/prefer not to attend our Stafford clinic. Please call us on 3356 9552 to arrange an appointment with our Naturopath & Nutritionist, Daniela Le Sueur.
